This year, the team have been working incredibly hard on improving user experience and introducing new features to save you time and improve your payment process, none of which would have been possible without your feedback.
We feel incredibly lucky to have such a passionate and enthusiastic community, from beta groups and NPS to emails and webinars, your feedback has been essential to our product growth this past year. And although we try to shout about our updates as much as possible, there may be a few that you’ve missed!
So without further ado, here’s your look back at the big releases of the past 12 months.
The first significant change that we implemented in 2022 was the new design. We took out some of the darker colours used in the app to bring a cleaner, lighter feel to Telleroo. Ultimately allowing you to focus on the process at hand.
Next up we released our game-changing Xero Bills integration. Instead of having to log into Xero to process invoices awaiting payment, with this feature you can create pay runs, approve, and pay suppliers all from Telleroo! This has the added benefit of enabling you to delegate payments to junior team members without having to grant them access to your Xero account.
We implemented changes to the way we handle payment references to make it easier and reduce errors. This included automatically removing special characters and replacing them with a dash and shortening references from Xero to 18 characters. Both of these removed limitations, enabling payments to be passed to the Faster Payments network.
We also introduced the ability to toggle between the invoice or contact reference stored in Xero for each supplier, bringing more flexibility to your payment process.
Q4 was our busiest yet, we kicked off by releasing the bank details scanner. This clever feature allows you to automatically populate the sort code and account number from your invoices in Xero, saving you time and reducing the risk of keying in a wrong number.
We then added the very handy ability to add notes to a pay run. This allows you to add much-needed context, helping the person in charge of approving (or your future self) understand key details related to the pay run.
Next up was the single payment run feature, which enables you to send a single payment through Telleroo without the need for a file import. This is especially handy to make a payment to HMRC or to refund your main bank account. You can also add notes to, rename or schedule single payments.
We then added more insight into pay run creators and approvers, surfacing those details on the pay run page just above the timeline. This allows for a better audit trail and lets you know who to ask for more information should you need it.
And last but certainly not least, we solidified our commitment to protecting your data to the highest standard with our ISO 27001:2013 certification. IT security, cybersecurity and privacy protection are incredibly important to us, this certification allows us to continue to adhere to the highest standards for data protection.
And there you go, what a year it’s been! We hope you’re enjoying these features as much as we are. We’ve got some very exciting releases coming up early in 2023, keep your eyes peeled for more information on these soon!
